This is the most common and popular tour plan that is undertaken by maximum number of people every year. The trip is done by Land Cruisers with stopovers along the way. The most important aspect of this plan is that it is the most basic and cost effective.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01 :
Arrive in Kathmandu & Yatra briefing. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02:
Pashupatinath Darshan afternoon preparation for yatra. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03 :
Drive to Nyalam (3800 m). Overnight at Nyalam Guest House.

Day 04 :
Nyalam for acclimatization. Overnight at Nyalam Guest House.

Day 05 :
Drive to Lhatse best view of Mt. Everest. Overnight at Lhatse Guest House.

Day 06:
Drive to Saga ( 4580 m). Overnight at Saga Post Guest House.

Day 07 :
Drive to Paryang (4500 m). Overnight at Yak Guest House.

Day 08 :
Drive to Manasarovar (4560 m). Overnight at Trugo Gompa.

Day 09 :
Puja and Holy dip drive to Darchen ( 4560 m). Overnight at Hotel.

Day 10 :
Walk to Dirapuk ( 4765 m). Overnight at Guest House / Camp.

Day 11 :
Walk to Zuthulphuk ( 4700 m). Overnight at Guest House / Camp.

Day 12 :
Walk to Tangsar drive to Hore. Overnight at Guest House.

Day 13 :
Drive to Paryang. Overnight at Guest House.

Day 14 :
Drive to Saga. Overnight at Saga Post Guest House.

Day 15:
Drive to Lhatse. Overnight at Guest House.

Day 16:
Drive to Nyalam. Overnight at Nyalam Guest House.

Day 17:
Drive to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 18:
Fly back to home. Tour End.

Mode of transportation :  
The kora (parikarma) of Mt. Kailash is to be performed by foot/yaks (Optional). It takes about two & a half day (42 km). Rest of the Journey by Jeep / Bus.

Accommodation: 
Accommodation & all meals are inclusive. accommodation will be provided in Hotels/Guest houses OR Tents ( as per Availability).

Medical Facilities : 
Very few medical facility is available in Tibet. That too is very distantly located. Our Guide having certificate of paramedic courses will accompany the group, who take care of only few Medical issues at High altitudes. Personal Medical kit & medicines are recommended.

Guide : 
Tibetan Guide will accompany the group, Supported by Tour Leader from India Or Nepal.

Tour Cost:  
US $ 1600 + tax Per Person for Non Indian passport Holders OR INR 85,000 + tax for Indian passoprt holders. This is 2013 rate, Tour cost is subject to change depending on the Rates announced by TAR for 2014).

Permission and Official Formalities:  
* No permission is required from the Indian or the Nepalese Govt.
* To undertake this tour all yatris should have valid passports.
* Tibetan Permit & Chinese Visa are required for this tour, which is included in the tour cost.
* Medical Fitness certificate (issued by registered medical practioner) is needed.
